The local Cub Scout Pack #399 Annual Pinewood Derby is happening Sunday, March 5 at 1 p.m., St. James School in Howard Lake. This is a long standing tradition of Cub Scouts which supports several communities including Winsted, Howard Lake, Waverly, and Lester Prairie. The Cub Scouts-open to both boys and girls have spent time pre-making their derby cars and will test their handy work to see which car will come in first.
