• St. James Lutheran Church, 1000 7th Ave., 6:30 pm, LWML Christmas Smorgasbord.
Food Drive, Citizens State Bank of Waverly and Montrose. For each
item brought in you are eligible for a holiday gift basket drawing. Food
Drive runs through Dec. 19.

Bloodmobile Dec. 2 in Lester Prairie
The American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at the Lester Prairie City  Hall Tuesday, Dec. 2 from 1 to 6:15 p.m. Call Colleen at (320) 395-2764 to make an appointment.

Thursday, Dec. 4

Refreshments, drawings, and in-house specials will be part of the  holiday open house activities at Winsted Floral Friday, Dec. 5.

Saturday, Dec. 6
• Good Samaritan Society, 413 13th Ave., 1:00 – 2:30 p.m., Join us for Santa Day and bring your camera and kids for a picture with Santa.
• St. John’s Lutheran Church, 625 12th Ave., 8:15 a.m. Traditional  Country store opens; 9 a.m. Advent Program; 10 a.m. An Old Fashioned  Christmas Brunch
• St. Mary’s Parish Hall, 606 Elm Ave, 9 am, Purchase Home-baked
Assorted Holiday Cookies and Candies.

Open house at Big Al’s Saturday
Big Al’s, Winsted will host its grand opening Saturday, Dec. 6 with a
pork chop feed from noon to 8 p.m., followed by music by Double Ds from
9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
