Chanhassen bank robbed Thursday

CHANHASSEN, MN – Just after 8 p.m. Thursday, the Carver County Sheriff’s Department responded to a hold up alarm at the TCF Bank at 7900 Market Boulevard in Chanhassen, according to Carver County Sheriff Byron “Bud” Olson. The robbery was confirmed by a 911 call from a teller inside the bank. The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned African American female, 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet four inches tall, about 130 pounds with dark hair. She is estimated to be in her 20s. She was wearing a blue or black zip up style sweat suit with a pink baseball cap.

The description of a possible suspect vehicle is a light-colored mid-size passenger car.

The Carver County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigations are investigating the incident.
