Chamber’s Waverly beanbag event a success

WAVERLY, MN – The beanbag toss competition during Waverly Daze the second weekend in July was a complete success. The tournament winners are Mike and Kevin Raguse, from Lester Prairie. It was hosted by the Montrose-Waverly Chamber of Commerce. Sixty-four teams took part in the event, commented Kent Houston of the Chamber. “Great participation and sportsmanship, despite the broken beanbags,” he added.  The chamber also sponsors or contributes to the royalty coronation program, Four Mile Run, and Kids’ 1 Mile Run.

The chamber raffled off two board sets, and the winners are Peewee Decker (shown) and Grant Ogle.
