SWEDEN – The Herald Journal received the following note from a Swedish lady: Hi

I am writing from Sweden to you for help. I found an article on the Internet written by Patrice Waldron some years ago. It was about Lake Mary brickyard. The man that started that brickyard was a relative to me, Andrew Hanson.

I know he had two daughters, Ellen and Josefina. Josefina married Enok Berg and had no children. But Ellen, married to John Emil Allen, had three children. Alice, Elmer and Howard.

I have a website about the emigration from this part of Sweden to US, Canada and other countries. I am trying hard to locate now living relatives to the emigrants and sometimes I find them. Now I want to find living relatives to these three children. Any idéa how to find them?? When Patrice wrote the article he must have been in contact with the Allen family, don´t you think.

Please help me to find them.

Sincerely
Laila Falk in Sweden

Anyone who wishes to help her, please email the editor at news@heraldjournal.com.

“This 1940 photo is very different from team photos taken today. Every one of these young men, still in their teens, had expressions on their faces and revealed their personalities, unlike the impersonal team shots taken today, where the players all seem to want to show you how cool they are, not really into it,” O’Leary writes. Check his column out.

The Scottish singer Susan Boyle, 47, wowed judges during “Britain’s Got Talent,” in Glasgow recently. But the true story is about not judging a book by its cover, and what a woman of substance Susan Boyle is. This video has received 100 million views worldwide.
