Brownton-Young America to switch home fields

Brownton and Young America will be switching their home fields for their games this week.

Young America will play at Brownton on Tuesday, and Brownton will travel to Young America Sunday.

In addition to the sampling, food will be served at the event including burgers, brats, pork chops, pizza, bottled water, & pop.

st_marysThis 2nd annual event will take place Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Winstock Country Music Festival grounds. Gates will open at 2 p.m.

Only those 21 and older, with a valid ID, will be allowed to enter. Participants will receive a commemorative mug to use for the 2-ounce beer and wine samples, and they will be able to vote for their favorite beverage.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.stmarysbrewfest.com, St. Mary’s Care Center in Winsted, or at the Blue Note Ballroom in Winsted.

Early bird tickets will be $25 through August 1, 2015. At the gate, tickets will be $35 each. Designated driver tickets are available for $10 each, and include a mug and non-alcoholic beverages.

There is no charge for parking.

The CRVL roster meeting will be held Tuesday, June 30 at Dubb’s in Glencoe at 7 pm.

Sixth edition of Crow River Review out now

The latest edition of the Crow River Review has been delivered to bars, ballparks and news stands throughout the league. There will be no edition next week; the next edition will be printed July 9.

League Playoff Roster Meeting June 29

The League Playoff Roster Meeting will be held June 29th at 7:00 pm at Dubb’s in Glencoe.

Next edition of Crow River Review out June 19

The next edition of the Crow River Review is being printed Thursday, June 18, and will reach most news stands, bars and ball fields by Friday afternoon, June 19.
