Important Notes and Reminders:

 

 

The PTO will be making a Box Top submission soon. Please give nonexpired, trimmed Box Tops to classroom teachers by February 14th. Thank you for your ongoing support.

 

For the seniors who are going on the class trip: Your final payment is due tomorrow, Wednesday, February 5th.  Please see Mr. W. and see how much you need to pay.  Thanks!

 

The Helland’s are involved in a fundraiser for 2B Continued called “Dancing Like the Starts” on April 11th, 2020 at the Glencoe City Center from 6-10 p.m.  All proceeds benefit 2B Continued which was formed to honor Shelly Teubert which supports the suicide prevention and mental health awareness.  Ticket can be purchased on line through their go fund me account.  Donations are also being collected in the LP School office which will go towards 2B Continued and will help the Hellands win that portion of the event.  Good luck to the Hellands!

 

Driver Ed winter classroom schedules are in the office.  Please fill out and return to Mr. Neubarth ASAP.  Thanks!

 

Conferences will be held on Thursday, Feb. 6 from 3:30 to 7:30 and Tuesday, Feb. 11th from 3:30 to 7:30.  Elementary students have assigned times and parents of high school students may come at anytime on either of the nights.

 

Due to her part-time status, Mrs. Helland will only be available for conferences on Tuesday, February 11th. If that time does not work for you please contact her to set up a different time.

 

Mrs. Wood will only be available for the February 11 conferences, as she shares time with HT. If this night doesn’t work for you, please contact her to schedule a meeting.

There will be a meeting for all girls in grades 9-11 that are interested in Football Cheerleading for the 20-21 school year on Thursday, February 6, at 8:00am in the Media Center.

For this event we need new and gently used books of all ages (including adult) as prizes for Bingo and other games

A drop box for collecting books will be located by the office for you to drop off your books or you can send them to school with your child

Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted School will have a 2-hour late start tomorrow so if you ride the HL bus you will need to find your own way to school in the morning.

A big thank you to all of our parents and staff who volunteered to make treats, gave up time on Friday and Saturday to help out, and shared their spaces with us on Saturday at our Future Problem Solvers Regional Meet. Lester Prairie showed how great of a school it is, both with volunteers and during our competition. We are anxiously awaiting to hear if we qualified for state, which will be announced on February 10th.

Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted School will have a 2-hour late start this Wednesday, Feb. 5th so there will be NO Morning buses for Holy Trinity students.  You must find your own way to school Wednesday morning.  Afternoon buses will run as scheduled.

There will NOT be a Snofest Dance due to building schedule conflicts.

Kindergarten Registration Open House for the 2020-2021 school year will take place TODAY from 5:00-6:00 in the Kindergarten Rooms.  A child must have completed early childhood screening and be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2020 to attend Kindergarten during the 2020-2021 school year.
