<p>I Love to Read Month:  Looking for volunteer readers to take a trip to either Humphrey or Winsted Elementary and read to a group of young students.  We will be attending the elementary schools on Tuesday, February 28th during 7th period.  Students can sign-up with Mrs. Amland during their lunch hour.  You will receive a permission slip that must be signed by your 7th hour instructor, a parent/guardian, and Mr. Day.  In order to participate, students must be following all school policies and the syllabus of their 7th hour class.  Let&#8217;s get involved and express the importance of reading to young students.  Deadline to sign-up is Thursday, February 16th.  Thank you!</p>

<p align="left">The student council will be selling candy grams during lunch today.  Candy hearts will be $.50 a box or 3 for $1.00.  Sellers are Matthew Remer, Joe Otto, and Michael Tussing.</p>

<p>Concession Stand Workers for remainder of winter season:  Thursday, Feb. 9  – Spenser Weber, Daire Butturff, and no parent needed;  Friday, Feb. 10 – Riley Gruenhagen, Kaitlyn Peterson, and parent Tammy Gruenhagen;  Tuesday, Feb. 14 – Christian Sterner, Dylan Lunak, and parent volunteer needed; Tuesday, Feb. 21 – Dylan Sherwin, PJ Everett, and parent Michelle Heuer;  Friday, Feb. 24 – Marissa Fiecke,  Russell Bayerl, Dane Virnala, and parent volunteer needed;  Tuesday, Feb. 28 – Mackenzie Uter, Abby Miller, and parent volunteer needed;  Thursday, March 1 – Dylan Youngren, Amanada Wiedewitsch, and parent Kim Youngren; Saturday, March 3 – Kailely Carrabree, Billie Kowalki, and parent volunteer needed; Thursday, March 8 – Shannon Benonen, Lindsey Marketon, and parent volunteer needed;  Saturday, March 10 – Katie Hirsch, Sam Campbell, Austin Tintes, and parent volunteer needed.    STUDENTS – If you have a conflict with your assigned night, YOU MUST FIND A REPLACEMENT prior to your scheduled night, and let Janet know &#8211;  NO EXCUSES! <p>PROM NOTES: An After Prom fundraiser will take place Friday, Feb. 24  staffing the fish fry for the Waverly Lions.  Shifts are from 4 to 6 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.   Contact Sue Jagodzinski if you are willing to help,  15-20 adults are needed for each shift.</p>
<p>There will be a used/consigned Prom dress sale Saturday, March 10 at the HLWW High School.  Donated dresses can be dropped off at the high school office.  Consigned dresses will require a release form and other additional information.  You can email Sue Jagodzinski for a form at smjag@embarqmail.com, or pick one up in the high school office.</p>
<p>FRESHMAN/SOPHOMORE HONORS BREAKFAST will take place TUESDAY, FEB. 14    at 8 a.m. JUNIOR/SENIOR HONORS BREAKFAST will take place WEDNESDAY, FEB. 15     at 8 a.m. Students had to be on the honor roll both 1st and 2nd quarters to receive an invitation.  Invitations were mailed Feb 2.  If you did not receive an invitation, and think you should have, please contact Kathleen in the counseling office (320) 543-4600, ext. 4305.</p>
<p>YEARBOOKS: The Yearbook deadline is March 16, cost is $58, and no extra books will be ordered.  You can order online, or with forms in the Office.  However, if you want to customize the Yearbook, you MUST            order online.</p>
<p>I Love to Read Month:  Looking for volunteer readers to take a trip to either Humphrey and Winsted Elementary and read to a group of young students.  We will be attending the elementary schools on Tuesday, Feb. 28 during 7th period.  Students can sign-up with Mrs. Amland during their lunch hour.  You will receive a permission slip that must be signed by your 7th hour instructor, a parent/guardian, and Mr. Day.  In order to participate, students must be following all school policies and the syllabus of their 7th hour class.  Let&#8217;s get involved and express the importance of reading to young students.  Deadline to sign-up is Thursday, Feb. 16.  Thank you!</p>
