Early deadlines due to holidays

Herald Journal/Enterprise Dispatch/Delano Herald Journal offices will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25 and the afternoon of Tuesday, Dec. 24. Newspaper deadline will be noon Monday, Dec. 23. The deadline for the Jan. 3, 2020 issue will be noon Tuesday, Dec. 31. Our offices will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020.

Funeral notice: Brennan Wischnack, 20, of Watertown

WATERTOWN, MN – Brennan Wischnack, age 20, of Watertown, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019.
His funeral service will be Monday, Dec. 23 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Watertown.  There will be visitation at the church Sunday, Dec. 22 from 3 to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m.; and visitation will continue Monday at the church one hour prior to the service.  Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.  Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home of Waconia.

Funeral notice: Millicent ‘Millie’ Motzko, 62, of Watertown

WATERTOWN, MN – Millicent “Millie” (Leiter) Motzko, age 62, of Watertown, passed away Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown. There will be visitation from 9 to 11 a.m., prior to the Mass, at the church.
Arrangements are with the Iten’s Watertown Funeral Home.

Funeral notice: Donald L. Blackketter, 88, of Watertown

WATERTOWN, MN – Donald L. Blackketter, 88, of Watertown, passed away Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, at his home.  There will be a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, Dec. 12 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown, followed by interment with military honors at the church cemetery.  Visitation will take place Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Iten Funeral Home in Watertown, with a 3:45 p.m. Knights of Columbus Rosary; continuing Thursday at the church, one hour prior to the Mass.  Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.  Arrangements are with the Iten Funeral Home of Watertown.
