CARVER COUNTY, MN – April 21-28 is National Infant Immunization Week, and the Carver County Public Health Department encourages all parents to make sure that their infants and children are immunized against all vaccine-preventable diseases, the Chanhassen Villager reported.

The Minnesota Vaccine for Children (MnVFC) program and the uninsured and under-insured adult vaccine program administered by the Centers for Disease Prevention & Control (CDC) and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) provide vaccines to the Carver County Public Health Department and other health care providers that participate in these programs. Therefore, the Carver County Public Health Department can provide adult and childhood immunizations to those who need them and cannot afford to pay for them, according to the Chanhassen Villager.

For more information, call the Carver County Public Health Information & Resource Line at (952) 361-1329.
