Carver County announces park commission vacancies

CARVER COUNTY, MN – The Carver County Board is seeking volunteers to serve on the county’s park advisory commission. The commission advises the county board on acquisition, development, operation, and management of the county park system. Appointments are for three-year terms. Meetings are held monthly on the second Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Baylor and Lake Minnewashta parks and the Cologne public works headquarters building.

Currently there is a vacancy in Commissioner District 1 (parts of Chanhassen and Chaska) and an at large vacancy from commissioner district 1, 2, 4 or 5.
