Carver Co. library benefit set for Nov. 12

CARVER COUNTY, MN – A benefit for the Library Foundation of Carver County called “Favorite Reads” is set for Thursday, Nov. 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the School II Bistro in Chanhassen.

The event will feature presenters County Commissioner Gayle Degler, Judge Mike Fahey, naturalist Jim Gilbert, Chanhassen librarian Kathy Perschmann, and journalist Unsie Zuege.

There will also be featured books for sale, appetizers and deserts, drink specials, raffle drawings, door prizes, and more.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. The event will benefit the Carver County Library programs and collections.
