Boys basketball results from Thursday

It was a good night for the area boys basketball teams in the playoffs Thursday night, as all of them won.
In Section 2A, Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity topped Southwest Christian 73-55, and will now play Cedar Mountain/Comfrey Monday, March 15 at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter at 5 p.m. in the sub-section championship game.
In Section 5AA, the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers beat Glencoe-Silver Lake 49-46; Watertown-Mayer topped Norwood Young America 78-49; and Mayer Lutheran snuck past Litchfield 74-69.
The second round of Section 5AA play will take place Saturday, March 13 at Dassel-Cokato with Mayer Lutheran facing HLWW at 6 p.m. and Watertown-Mayer battling Sibley East at 8 p.m
