Body-worn cameras to be discussed in Winsted Sept. 4

WINSTED, MN – The Winsted City Council work session Tuesday, Sept. 5 will begin with discussion about body-worn cameras for the police department. Another item on the agenda is the recommended 2019 city budget.

The meeting will start at 5 p.m. in the Lewis Room of city hall. The regular meeting will follow, starting at 6 p.m. in the council chambers.

    I apologize – I just saw your comment. Yes, all meetings of public bodies including city councils and school boards are open to the public unless specifically closed under a very narrow range of exceptions (in which case the body is required to state the purpose of the closed session and the statute under which it is closed. Formal action must be taken in an open meeting).
