Birkholz accepts Winsted’s city administrator offer

WINSTED, MN – After interviewing three city administrator finalists Sept. 19, the Winsted City Council extended an offer to Adam Birkholz for the position. Birkholz has been the community development coordinator in Lester Prairie since 2015.

Birkholz has since accepted the offer, which is contingent upon approval by the city council at its Tuesday, Oct. 2 meeting.

The other two finalists were Amanda Ziedler (current deputy city clerk in Winsted) and Luke Lewis (a private consultant for 5 Sails Consulting in Missouri). Patty Fitzgerald, who is serving as interim city administrator, noted that all three were strong candidates.
