The Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) is seeking motorcycle enthusiasts to start a chapter in Buffalo. Anyone in the Wright County area interested in riding with a new motorcycle social and touring group, is encouraged to attend an informational meeting and dinner, Thursday, Jan. 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Evergreen Grill (Buffalo Heights Golf Course), located at 905 Highway 25 S. The first thing organizers would like to clear up is that every make of motorcycle is welcome.
Although the organization is mostly Gold Wing and Valkyrie riders, it is made up of members owning nearly every make of bike there is. Why join an organization? Many members feel the chapter is the single most important benefit of belonging to GWRRA and for many reasons, some of which are stated below.
• New friends – Countless new friends with a common interest are made. It provides an opportunity to ride Gold Wings with friends.
• Safe riding – Safe riding is promoted to make the riding experience even more enjoyable. Skills and safety techniques are learned.
• Friends for fun, safety, and knowledge – Participants get an opportunity to live the motto of “Friends for Fun, Safety and Knowledge.”
Members may participate in as many, or as few, activities and meetings as they wish. There are no applications or fees needed to participate in a GWRRA Chapter. With more that 800 chapters, members are never far from “home” when traveling.
