Big Plays Power Chargers Past Panthers

GLENCOE – The DC Chargers got four long touchdown runs, and two defensive touchdowns, to power past the Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers Friday by a score of 49-14.

DC improved to 6-0 on the season. They will now face Litchfield next Friday in an important Section matchup. The Dragons lost their first game of the season Friday to Watertown-Mayer, 26-7.

The Chargers got long touchdown runs from Eli Gillman (57, 77), Monte Gillman (76), and Keyton Johnson (41).

In addition, DC had two defensive touchdowns, a Jack Hillmann interception return of 29 yards, and a 75-yard fumble return for a touchdown by Johnson (on a fumble caused by Hillman).

Mitchell Jaskowiak had a big day for the Panthers, rushing 40 times for 245 yards and two touchdowns, but it was not nearly enough.
