Baseball tourney in Lester Prairie

Lester Prairie will be hosting a 10A MBT and GSTC state qualifier baseball tournament Friday, June 15 through Sunday, June 17. Games will be taking place all weekend at the Lester Prairie baseball field.

Teams taking part in the tournament include BOLD, Buffalo Lake-Hector, Delano, Watertown, Hutchinson, Norwood Young America, Litchfield, and Lester Prairie.

Games will take place at 6 and 8 p.m. Friday, followed by games at 10:30 a.m., 1, 3:15, and 5 p.m. Saturday.

The tournament wraps up Sunday with semifinals at noon, and the championship and third-place games at 2:30 p.m.

An awards ceremony will follow at 4:45 p.m.

Fields being used for the tournament include Bulldog Field, Veterans Field, and Lions Field.

Lester Prairie opens the tournament at 8 p.m. against BOLD Friday.
