Mrs. Ide is missing all of her ice packs from the office. If you have recently borrowed one please check your lockers to see if you have one.

9:45am – Assembly to announce attendants

3:20 – BBB practice in LP

4/5:00 – JHGB – a – Maple Lake – bus leaves at 2:45 – players dismissed at 2:30 – (8th grade plays first)

4:15 – JHBB – A – Hutch Rec. Center – bus leaves at 3:00 – players dismissed at 2:45

6/7:30 – GBB – A – Mound – bus leaves at 4:45

Current NHS members will have a meeting tomorrow morning at 7:30 in Mrs. Danielson’s room.

Tomorrow’s dress up day is Twin or MN Twins Day so you can either dress in MN Twins sportswear, or dress exactly like another person and be twins for a day.

Howard Lake will have a 2 hour late start on Wednesday, Feb. 8th. There will be no morning HL busses. Students must find their own ride to school. There will be busses in the afternoon.

Wednesday is activity. Check the whiteboard in the front entry to see where you should go when the first bell rings. Those going to the Science Museum should bring a bag lunch and those going skiing can either bring a lunch or bring money to buy food from their concession stand. Those going skating, your lunch is included in your fee.

Mrs. Kahle is looking for 2-3 senior high students to work in the concession stand this Saturday during the Juvenile Diabetes Fundraiser. You do not need to be a student council member to volunteer and you will get service hours. Please talk to her if you are interested.

This Saturday is our youth mass at 5:15. Mrs. Kahle is looking for 4 students to usher, and students to help with music and singing. If you would be willing to help, let Mrs. Kahle know.

Winsted Area Chamber of Commerce annual banquet Feb. 11

WINSTED, MN – Winsted Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet is scheduled for 5 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Blue Note Ballroom. The theme for this year’s event is “Celebrating Winsted – 125 Years.” The program includes a Winsted historical review presented by Gary Lenz, entertainment by Comedy Sportz of Minneapolis, and the presentation of the Business of the Year Award.

WHAT UP sledding party cancelled

WINSTED, MN – Due to warm weather, and the lack of snow, WHAT UP (Winsted Holding Activities That Unite People) is canceling its sledding party scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 11.  Upcoming WHAT UP events to watch for are family game day Saturday, March 10, and a scavenger hunt Saturday, April 28. Both events are to take place at Winsted City Hall at 1 p.m.

There are still a handful of people that need to turn in their permission slips for Snofest activity day. Please get these turned in today.

6/7:30pm- GBB – HLP – New Life Academy – Parents Night

Perspective new NHS members will have a meeting tomorrow (Friday)morning in Mrs. Danielson’s room at 7:45am. All perspective members should be there.

We will celebrate mass tomorrow with Bishop LeVoir. Please take a minute to review the mass dress code in the handbook as to what is acceptable and let’s make a good impression on the Bishop.

Girls in grades 7-12 have until Feb. 7 to sign up to play softball this spring. Sign up at the office.

Mrs. Kahle is looking for some volunteers to help with the youth mass on Sat. Feb. 11th at 5:15.. Let her know if you can help out with the ministries.

7th, 8th, 9th and 11th grades still need to find chaperones for the dance so get their names to Mrs. Kahle by this Friday.

Tomorrow the HT Boosters will have donuts, rolls and juice for all students, teachers, staff, parents and grandparents in celebration of Catholic Schools Week. Join us in the cafeteria from 7:30-8:00am.

There is a sign-up sheet at the office for girls in grades 7-12 who are interested in playing softball this spring.

Mrs. Kahle is looking for some volunteers to help with the youth mass on Sat. Feb. 11th at 5:15. This is the same night as the Snofest Dance, so start the night with mass, come to the dance and sleep in on Sunday. Let her know if you can help out with the ministries.

Today is the last day to get your yearbook for $65.00. Order forms are at the office or from Mrs. Olson.

Mrs. Kahle still needs permission slips and money for the Snofest activity day from about 25 people. Please get these turned in by tomorrow.
