Funeral notice: Ralph W. Peterson, 93, Dassel

Ralph W. Peterson (husband of Marian Peterson), age 93, of Dassel, formerly of Cokato, died Tuesday, Dec. 13 at his residence. A funeral service will take place Monday, Dec. 19 at 11 a.m. at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Dassel with the Rev. John Peterson and Rev. Steven Olson officiating. The interment will be held at the Dassel Cemetery following the service.

A visitation will take place Sunday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel. There will be a one hour visitation prior to the service on Monday at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Dassel.

Joyce Isakson, 83, of Dassel, died Friday, Dec. 9 at Lakeview Ranch in Dassel. A memorial service will take place Saturday, Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Dassel. David Earl Terning, age 61, of Hutchinson, died Monday, Dec. 5, at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. A funeral service will take place Sat., Dec. 10, at 11 a.m. at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Dassel with the Rev. John Peterson officiating. The interment will take place at the Dassel Community Cemetery.

Michael K. Johnson 66, of Dassel died Nov. 22, at Granite Falls Memorial Hospital in Granite Falls. A funeral service will take place at 1:30 pm Tuesday, Nov. 29 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Atwater. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Atwater. Fairest of the Fair crowned Sunday

Three girls were crowned during the Wright County Fair coronation in Howard Lake July 27.

Johannah Comee of Buffalo was crowned the new Fairest of the Fair, with Afton Kielsa of Albertville being crowned princess.  Princess Danielle Mazer of Monticello nominated as Miss Congeniality.

The outgoing royalty is shown with the newly crowned royalty (with sashes).
