Today’s Menu: Chicken Nuggets with Bread or Roast Beef Sandwich, Carrot Sticks, Steamed Corn, Pears, Milk

 

Tomorrow’s Menu:  Chicken Noodle Casserole with Buttered Bread or Ham Sandwich, Lettuce Salad, Steamed Peas, Fruit, Milk

Important Notes and Reminders:

 

Seniors, who are going on the class trip, please stop in Ms. Smith’s room and sign the travel sheet.  Make sure you bring your ID or driver’s license with you.  Thank you!

 

The high school concert is on Monday, December 16th at 7:30 pm. This involves all students grades 6-12 in band and choir.  JH students need to wear white tops and black bottoms. SH band students need to wear all black and boys will need a shirt they can wear a tie with. Students need to be at school by 7pm.

 

The elementary concert is TONIGHT at 7:00 p.m.

 

There is a table of lost and found items located in the hallway by the cafeteria.  Please claim your items by Friday, Dec. 13. All items will be disposed of after Friday.  Thank you!

 

The next free lunch for high school students will be on Wed., Dec. 18th.

 

The student council will be selling hot chocolate and donuts in the lobby each Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning before school during December.  The cost is only $1.00 for either hot chocolate or a donut.

 

School will not be in session from December 23 to January 1 due to the Christmas break.  School will resume Thursday, January 2. Enjoy the break!

There will be pep band for Tuesday’s game at HT. Please be there by 6:55pm. Bring regular pep music AND Quick and Easy Packets. Wear xmas gear and deck your instruments!

 

The LP/HT Baseball team will be ordering new hats this year. If you plan to play baseball this year you need to purchase one. However, anyone can order one. We plan on using the same hats for multiple years.  They will be all maroon with some gold accents. If you want to look at the design go to @LPHTBaseball Twitter Page. Mr. Machemehl will be collecting money before he places the order on December 20th.  If you want a hat please hand in your money and pick your size before that order date. The cost per hat is $25. Dassel City Council to review budget

DASSEL, MN – There will be a special city council meeting tonight at Dassel City Hall at 5:30 p.m. The council will be reviewing the 2020 budget, with a presentation by financial advisors Mike Bubany and David Drown.

Juniors- MinnTex  Fundraiser fruit comes in tomorrow, Tuesday- the 10th, at 9:00 am.  Please arrange for pickup at 3:00, in the shop.  With expected cold temperatures, be aware that this fruit cannot stay in your vehicle, you must deliver asap.  Thank you!

The National Honor Society is collecting NEW toys to donate to Toys for Tots. There is a box in the office that you may put the toys in. We will be collecting until the morning of Tuesday, December 10th.

World’s best workforce public hearing at DC schools Monday

DASSEL, COKATO, MN – The DC School Board will conduct a world’s best workforce public hearing during its special meeting Monday, Dec. 9.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the district board room.

Other items on the agenda include presentations on the long term facilities maintenance bond and truth in taxation.

Wrestlers released at 2:15 TODAY.

 

All clothes, shoes and equipment must be taken out of the Boys Locker Room TODAY by 3:30.  The locker room will be cleaned out after school TODAY and anything left will be donated or disposed of.  The locker room will be available again on Monday morning.
