Holy Trinity School announcements March 5

WINSTED, MN – Lunch for Today:  Hamburger Gravy/Mashed Potatoes, Dinner Roll, Corn, Fruit, Milk

There will be a banquet induction rehearsal tomorrow morning at 7:30am in the cafeteria for all (current and new) Honor Society members.

Students interested in working at the spring fling should talk to Mrs. Greenwald.

We will have Mass tomorrow at 8:15 – please remember to dress up.

Track and softball practices begin on Monday.  Remember to get your paperwork and fee turned in by then

Free Community Meal March 12

HOWARD LAKE, MN – A free community meal featurning a chicken dinner will be offered Thursday, March 12 from 5:30 p.m. until gone at St. James Lutheran School in Howard Lake. Everyone is welcome.

Winsted City Council meeting rescheduled

WINSTED, MN – The Winsted City Council work session and meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 3 has been rescheduled to Tuesday, March 10 at Winsted City Hall. The work session will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the regular council meeting at 6 p.m.

Gospel speaker, illusionist in Lester Prairie March 12

LESTER PRAIRIE, MN – Bob Lenz, speaker, and author will present a message of hope, value, community, and the love of God and the Gospel Thursday, March 12 at 7 p.m. in the gym at Lester Prairie School. He will be joined by AJ (Ardan James), the Animated Illusionist during the presentation. The free event, sponsored by St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie, and the Lester Prairie Lions Club, is family-friendly, and includes free pizza.

Friends in the Kitchen March 12

WINSTED, MN – Friends in the Kitchen will be offered Thursday, March 12 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Winsted. The free classes will teach three recipes to eat healthy on a tight budget. The class is open to anyone over age 55.

Fish fry March 13

WINSTED, MN – The annual all-you-can-eat fish fry hosted by Winsted Knights of Columbus will take place Friday, March 13 from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the Blue Note Ballroom in Winsted. The drive-thru and walk-up will be open from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $13 for adults, and $6 for kids.
