PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Waverly Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers of Waverly City Hall on Thursday, August 17, 2023 to consider an application for a conditional use permit to construct a market rate apartment complex at 6000 Dempsey Avenue in the Windgate at Carrigan Lake Subdivision. The property is located along Highway 12 and Dempsey Avenue. The proposal is to develop the property with a two story, 20- unit apartment complex and detached garage building. The design includes 14 two-bedroom units and 6 one- bedroom units. The landscape plan includes a buffer from the single-family residential subdivision with tree plantings.
The proposed conditional use permit, if approved, would allow the property to be developed as proposed with an apartment complex including 20 residential units with a detached garage building and parking lot for the residents.
Interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing in person or by agent or attorney to provide comments in favor or in opposition of the proposed conditional use of the property.

Pursuant to MN Statue 471.6161, notice is hereby given that Dassel Cokato ISD #466 requests proposals for
Group Health Insurance.
Specifications will be available from the District’s agent of record, National Insurance Services, at 14852 Scenic Heights Road, Suite 210, Eden Prairie, MN 55344, phone 800-627-3660.
Proposals are due no later than 2 p.m. August 30, 2023 to Dassel Cokato ISD #466 at 4852 Reardon Avenue SW, Suite 1700, Cokato, MN 55321 and as specified in the RFP.
Dassel Cokato ISD #466 reserves the right to reject proposals, waive formalities, and to select the proposal that best meets Dassel Cokato ISD #466s’s needs.

[PROPOSED] CHAPTER 97:
GENERAL REGULATIONS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Wright County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at 9:30 a.m., will hold a public hearing to consider enactment of an Ordinance related to Adult-Use Cannabis in Public Places. The proposed ordinance has been assigned number 23-3. This consideration and discussion will take place in the Commissioners’ Board Room at the Wright County Government Center, Buffalo, Minnesota. The Wright County Government Center is located at 3650 Braddock Ave NE, Buffalo, MN 55313.
The Wright County Board of Commissioners will be reviewing and discussing the proposed ordinance to the Wright County Code of Ordinances. Proposed is to enact Ordinance Number 23-3 to prohibit public use of cannabis in public places. Public places do not include private residences, private property if authorized by owner, or on premises licensed for on-site consumption.
The proposed ordinance can be reviewed in person in the Wright County Administration Office in the Wright County Government Center.
Written comments must be submitted to Wright County Administration, 3650 Braddock Ave NE, Ste 3200, Buffalo, MN 55313. All comments received by at 3:00 p.m. August 14, 2023, will receive full consideration by the Wright County Board of Commissioners.
Interpreter Services for the hearing impaired will be provided upon written request.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
All interested persons are hereby notified that the Winsted Planning Commission will meet to conduct a public hearing on a request for a conditional use permit to allow for a religious institution (church) to be constructed on property zoned R-1A Single Family Residential District. The property is located north of Westgate Drive, west of Sixth Street or County Road 1 and east of Grass Lake Road with a parcel identification number of 210030800 and legally described as follows:

Mayer public hearing: EDA funds

Regarding the City of Mayer
Levying Funds for the Benefit of the Economic Development Authority
Notice is hereby given that the City Council for the City of Mayer, Minnesota shall hold a public hearing on Monday, August 14th, 2023 at 6:30pm in City Hall located at 413 Bluejay Avenue in Mayer, Minnesota to receive public input on the proposed action to levy funds for the benefit of the Mayer Economic Development Authority (EDA) in 2024. The City of Mayer is proposing to transfer $50,000 of its levy to the EDA so they may engage in activities to support local businesses and attract new. The public is invited to attend the public hearing to give input. If a member of the public is unable to attend the public hearing they are invited to submit written response prior to the hearing to the City of Mayer.

Resolution 2023-26
Resolution Receiving Request from Economic Development Authority to Levy Funds for Their Benefit, Stating the Requested Amount, and Setting a Public Hearing Thereon
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 469.107 prescribes the process by which a city may levy funds for the benefit of an economic development authority; and,
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority made formal request to the City Council for the City of Mayer, Minnesota to consider levying funds for their benefit in 2023 to be collected and distributed in 2024 at their regular meeting on April 17 th , 2023; and,
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority has requested the City of Mayer levy the maximum limit allowable under Minnesota Statute 469.107, which is 0.01813 percent of estimated market value, equaling $51,806; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Mayer may levy an amount equal to the maximum limit or any figure lesser; and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing must be held two to four weeks after the publication of this resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Mayer, Minnesota the following:
1. The City Council receives the request from the Economic Development Authority.
2. The City Council proposes a levy of $50,000 to the benefit of the Authority in 2023 to be collected and distributed in 2024.
3. A public hearing will be held on August 14th, 2023 at 6:30pm in City Hall regarding the request.
