HLWW will open up section action Tuesday, Feb. 14 against Eden Valley-Watkins (7th seed) at Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City (2nd seed) starting at 6 p.m.

If the Lakers would beat EVW, they would then face ACGC that same night at 7:30 p.m.

The Section 5A semifinals and championship will be Friday, Feb. 17 at Minnewaska (6 and 7:30 p.m.).

This tourney is for youth wrestling students grades k-6, and  will be an eight-mat open tournament.

Weigh-in will be from 9-10 a.m. for grades k-3, and 10-11 a.m. for grades 4-6.

Wrestling will begin at approximately 10:30 a.m. in the HLWW High School gym, 8700 County Road 6 SW, Howard Lake.

The entry fee is $10 per wrestler.

Spectator fee is $2 per adult. Concessions will be available.

The Chargers will open up the section tournament Tuesday, Feb. 14 at Litchfield, the fourth seed, at 7:30 p.m.

The winner between Litchfield and DC will likely face off with the section’s top seed, Foley, Friday, Feb. 17 in Litchfield at 6 p.m. The section championship will follow at 7:30 p.m., also in Litchfield.
