A reprieve for Lexy

December 11, 2007 by Ivan Raconteur

The Lester Prairie City Council reversed an earlier decision last night (Dec. 10) when it changed the designation of John Richardson’s rottweiler, Lexy, from “dangerous dog” back to “potentially dangerous dog.”

The council added additional requirements that included all of the conditions placed on a dangerous dog except for the requirement for the one requiring Richardson to get a $50,000 security bond. As soon as the council granted Richardson’s request, he began complaining about the other conditions imposed by the council. Read the story in the Dec. 17 Herald Journal.
