Attention fishermen and fisherwomen: the 39th Annual Good Neighbor Days Fishing Contest is Saturday, June 24, shotgun start 7 a.m. and weigh-in at noon at Howard Lake Lions Park.
Registration at 6 a.m. with a fee of $25 per person for those wishing to participate. There will be a first place, second place, and third place winner in four different categories: largest northern, largest walleye, largest bass, and largest panfish. A pay out of a total $2,325 cash prizes (based on 93 entries) will be awarded.
The fifth annual Good Neighbor Days Bass Bag Contest will be a part of the fishing contest with a $10 entry fee per person. 100% payback of prize money. Pays for three places.
