HUTCHINSON, MN — two drivers were injured when one rear-ended the other today (May 31) near Hutchinson on Highway 22, according to the State Patrol.
Steven Hoff, 55, of Hutchinson was driving a 1993 Mack northbound on Highway 22 at about 4 p.m. when he slowed down to turn off at 23594 Highway 22 and was rear-ended by Andrew Royer, 17, of Litchfield, who was driving a 1994 Saturn.
Royer was treated and released, and Hoff’s condition was not documented.

An open house is planned 3:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 3 for Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Superintendent George Ladd, as he retires from his career in education.
The public is encouraged to join the festivities in the HLWW High School Commons.

Gadget’s Garage, Jesus Makes All Things New is the theme for vacation Bible school at St. James Lutheran Church, Howard Lake.
Dates and time are 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, June 7 through Thursday, June 11 in the St. James School.
Vacation Bible school is open to children ages four years to grade four.

WINSTED, MN – The Winsted Wildcats topped the St. Boni Saints 11-1 in eight innings Friday in Crow River Valley League action.
Tony Kley and Marc Kohler each had three hits in the win for Winsted.
