LP/HT boys stay perfect in MCAA

MAPLE GROVE, MN – Behind 31-29 at halftime, the Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity Bulldogs boys’ basketball team outscored Heritage Christian 41-28 in the second half to improve their Minnesota Christian Athletic Association record to 8-0 (14-2 overall) with a 70-59 win.

Senior Chris Neumann led LP/HT with 19 points.

Laker girls top BBE

HOWARD LAKE, MN – The Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers girls’ basketball team handed Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa its second Central Minnesota Conference loss of the season with a 81-56 win Friday.

The Lakers were led by senior Katie Pettit with 22 points, 10 assists, and 7 steals, while junior Ellie Wessling added 20 points and 14 rebounds.
